I Session II |
What is Basic I Session II?
This class begins where Session I leaves off, building
on that foundation. Emphasis is on solidifying the
behaviors learned in Session I such as stays and recalls.
By the end of the 5 weeks, the goal is for your dog
to be walking in a respectful manner on leash, be
able to do a 20 minute downstay, do a 5 minute sit
stay with heavy distractions, leave food on the ground,
come when called from a distance with distractions,
go to a rug from a distance, and perform the rest
of the exercises described in the AKC's Canine Good
Citizen test.
|
 |
|
| |
How Do We Do That?
All learning is done through positive reinforcement,
using food treats, toys and praise as rewards. As in
Session I, emphasis is on incorporating what you learn
in class into your everyday life interactions with your
dog.
